Cookie Policy
How CM Academy may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, analytics, security, and advertising.
Last Updated: August 30, 20261. Scope
This Cookie Policy explains how CM Academy and service providers may use cookies and similar technologies on CareMedox.org and Academy features. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small data file a website can place/read on a browser/device. Cookies can help keep users signed in, maintain secure sessions, remember preferences, protect forms, understand usage, measure performance, and support advertising.
Local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, and web beacons may perform related functions.
3. Categories We May Use
Strictly Necessary
Used for required/security functions such as login/session management, authentication, security controls, form integrity, or consent-preference storage.
Functional
May remember interface/display preferences.
Analytics / Performance
May help understand visitor numbers, pages, navigation, devices, traffic sources, errors, and lesson engagement.
Advertising
If ads are enabled, advertising providers may use cookies/technologies to deliver ads, limit repetition, measure impressions/interactions, detect invalid traffic, understand performance, and personalize ads where legally permitted and consented to.
Advertising may be contextual, non-personalized, limited, or personalized depending on provider, region, consent, and applicable law.
4. Google Advertising Cookies
If CM Academy uses Google AdSense or another Google advertising service, Google and partners may use cookies/similar technologies in connection with ad serving.
Google explains that third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and/or other websites.
Manage Google ad personalization: Google Ads Settings. Google partner-sites data explanation: Google partner-sites policy.
5. Consent Management
Where required by law, CM Academy may display a consent banner/management interface. Depending on location/configuration, users may be able to accept optional cookies, reject them, choose categories, and change preferences later.
Necessary technologies may still operate where required to provide a requested service or protect the site.
6. EEA, UK, and Switzerland Advertising Consent
If CM Academy serves personalized Google ads to users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google requires a Google-certified Consent Management Platform supporting applicable IAB Transparency and Consent Framework requirements.
Configure and test the CMP before personalized advertising is activated in these regions. Do not load optional storage before consent where applicable law/provider policy requires prior consent.
7. Browser Controls
Most browsers allow users to view/delete cookies, block some/all cookies, limit third-party cookies, clear site data, and configure tracking protections. Blocking necessary cookies may affect account/login/security functions.
8. Advertising Choices
Google advertising preferences are available at Google Ads Settings. CM Academy should add privacy/opt-out links for every advertising provider actually operating on the Academy.
9. Current Cookie Inventory
Before publication, run a real cookie scan and identify first-party session/authentication/security cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, consent cookies, embedded-content cookies, and CAPTCHA/security-provider cookies.
Do not publish guessed cookie names or durations. Publish a verified table once available.
10. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy when website features, vendors, advertising, analytics, or requirements change.
